Harold Schoenhaus, DPM, FACFAS is a board-certified foot, rearfoot, and reconstructive ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a past president and current fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds staff appointments and operating privileges at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital and Chestnut Hill hospital. Dr Schoenhaus' research and clinical interests are in biomechanics, pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery, including joint replacement surgery and pediatric podiatric surgery. Moreover, Dr Schoenhaus is the surgical editor for PRESENT e-Learning Systems, an online medical education and networking resource dedicated to improving the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals throughout the world. He is a nationally recognized lecturer and pioneer in the field of lower extremity pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery. Dr Schoenhaus has authored several landmark articles in peer-reviewed journals and books. In 2015 Dr Schoenhaus was the recipient of the Gallery of Success Award from Temple University.

Robert G Frykberg, DPM, MPH, MAPWCA, FRSM, FFPM (Glasg), is a graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1976. Dr Frykberg went on to complete his residency training at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He served as the President of the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society and a Member of the Board of Registration in Podiatry. From 1992 to 1994, he attended the Harvard School of Public Health and graduated with a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in quantitative methods. After 21 years of private practice, Dr Frykberg accepted the position as Clinical Dean of the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery prior to moving to Phoenix. After 15 years of dedicated service to our Veterans, Dr Frykberg has decided to retire from his role as Chief of Podiatry at the Phoenix VA Medical Center and as Director of the Phoenix VA Medical Center Podiatric Residency Program. He continues to hold the academic rank of Professor, University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and Adjunct Professor, Midwestern University Program in Podiatric Medicine. His research and writing interests have included all facets of lower extremity disorders, but are specifically focused on diabetic foot ulcers, infections, Charcot foot, and wound care. The author of nearly 100 peer-reviewed publications, he has also been the Editor of two textbooks: The High-Risk Foot in Diabetes Mellitus (1991) and the Diabetic Charcot Foot (2010). His expertise in the Diabetic Foot translated into hundreds of speaking invitations nationally and internationally with numerous lecture engagements in China, India, Russia, South America, the UK, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia, Italy, and across Europe.

Stanley Kalish, DPM is the Founder of the Superbones Conferences. He is a well-known author, and inventor of the TLS drain, the Kalish Osteotomy for Hallux Valgus correction. Dr Kalish is the winner of the 2003 Podiatry Management Lifetime Achievement Award. He has three children and five grandchildren. Dr Kalish practices in Atlanta, Georgia, and Nassau, Bahamas where he is a surgical consultant. He is a consultant to several U.S. orthopedic and pharmaceutical companies.

Lee C Rogers, DPM, FFPM RCPS (Glasg) is on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He helped the ABPM found the Certificate of Added Qualification in Amputation Prevention and Wound Care in 2017. He is a Fellow Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Dr Rogers has authored over 150 peer reviewed manuscripts or book chapters and focuses on creating systems of excellence for diabetic foot care and limb salvage.

Christopher Bromley, DPM, FACFAS currently practices foot and ankle surgery in Delray Beach, Florida. Dr Bromley's specialty within the group is Surgery, Sports Medicine, and Homeopathy. Dr Bromley has been passionate about nutrition and complementary medicine since entering private practice. He completed his surgical residency in 1992 in Baltimore, MD. His training included such prestigious hospitals as the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins. An international and national lecturer of foot and ankle surgery, wound care, and regenerative medicine. When not in the office and on the podium, Dr Bromley is an on-track performance driving instructor and motorcycle track day instructor. Dr Bromley is very proud of his three children Sarah, Kent, and Alexander.

Alla Danilkovitch, MS, PhD, RN

Alla Danilkovitch, RN, MS, PhD joined Osiris in 2003. At Osiris Dr Danilkovitch is responsible for development of Osiris' product pipeline and leads Research and Development, Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations. She is a researcher with more than 25 years of experience in Academia, U.S. Government and Industry combined. She has a proven record of successful product development from scientific ideas to market launch, which includes the world's first approved stem cell drug, remestemcel-L (Prochymal), for graft-versus-host disease, as well as BIO4 for bone repair, Cartiform for cartilage repair, Grafix and TruSkin for acute and chronic wounds, and Stravix for soft tissue repair. Her areas of scientific expertise include cellular and molecular biology and immunology, cell biochemistry and signal transduction, assay development and validation, stem cell biology and cellular regenerative medicine product development. She is an active member of several professional societies and a current reviewer for many peer-reviewed journals including Stem Cells, Allergy & Inflammation, Advances in Wound Care and others. Dr Danilkovitch has an extensive list of awards (13), publications (50) and patent applications (55). She also has extensive mentoring experience with deep understanding of the importance of teaching a new generation of scientists. Prior to joining Osiris, Dr Danilkovitch conducted research at the National Cancer Institute of National Institutes of Health, the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Munich, Germany, the Etvos Lorand University, Budapest, Hungary, and at Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia. She earned a PhD in Cell Biology and an MS in Cellular Immunology and Microbiology from Moscow State University. She also has RN degree in Pediatrics from Moscow Regional School of Nursing, Russia.

Steve McClain, MD hails from High Ridge, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri and trained at the University of Vermont with Dermatopathology fellowship at New York University. He is Adjunct Professor of Dermatology and Emergency Medicine at SUNY at Stony Brook with research interests in Wound Healing, Malignant Melanoma, and Pathology Informatics. He practices dermatopathology privately in Smithtown NY, founding McClain Laboratories, LLC in 2004. His most recent work "Thickness of Normal Toenails" was submitted for publication in American Journal of Dermatopathology.

Christopher J Milkie, DPM

Christopher Milkie, DPM is a native of Kenosha, Wisconsin. He has been in private practice since 1991 and enjoys helping people put an end to their foot pain. Dr Milkie believes that a persons overall health is intimately dependent on the health of their feet. Inactivity because of foot pain can lead to weight gain, diabetes, depression and other serious problems. Treating the foot problem and then educating the patient on prevention is his philosophy. Dr Milkie is always looking for new treatment options for foot or ankle pain for his patients. He was the first podiatrist to bring laser treatment for toenail fungus to Wisconsin (WI).

Jason R Miller, DPM

Jason Miller, DPM served as Chief Resident and was recognized for assisting in pioneering the foot and ankle program at the 700+ bed Level 1 trauma center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr Miller began his career in 2001 teaching in the Department of Surgery at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where he served as Residency Director of the Temple University Health Systems/Northeastern Hospital podiatric residency program and Chief of the Section. In 2002, Dr Miller was honored in the Temple University “Gallery of Success”, an annual prestige that is awarded to a recent and past Temple graduate who has excelled in their chosen career. Dr Miller continues to hold the rank of Associate Professor as an adjunct faculty member in the Dept of Surgery at TUSPM. He has been chosen as a Top Doc multiple times in Philadelphia and Main Line Today magazines. Dr Miller has written numerous articles in several peer-reviewed journals, presented many poster abstracts at national meetings, written and edited chapters in board review books and lectures both nationally and internationally on a variety of topics related to foot and ankle surgery. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery and The Foot and Ankle Journal Online. The PA Intensive Lower Extremity Fellowship program was founded by Dr Miller in 2011 and was recognized by the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons as the nation’s first 2-year foot & ankle postgraduate training program. In 2013, he formed a new 3-year residency program at Phoenixville Hospital to serve the community and provide training opportunities for graduating DPM students nationwide.

Mark Q Niederauer, PhD

Mark Q Niederauer, PhD earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biochemical Engineering with a focus in Genetics from Iowa State University. He is a Fulbright Scholar (Stuttgart, Germany) and a Fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering. He has more than 25 years of experience in the research, development, manufacturing and commercialization of pharmaceuticals and medical devices for tissue repair, including surgical instruments, resorbable scaffolds, dressings, wound oxygenation and monitoring, and electromechanical diagnostics. His corporate experience includes Bayer Chemikalien (Leverkusen, Germany), Hoechst Celanese, OsteoBiologics, Smith & Nephew Endoscopy and EO2 Concepts. He has numerous publications and is a co-inventor of multiple patents and applications for devices and methods used in orthopedic surgery, tissue engineering and wound care.

Richard Perez, DPM

Richard Perez, DPM, is board certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has lectured to professional societies on various aspects of practice management. He has particular interest in leveraging technology to enhance productivity and patient outcomes. Dr Perez is a faculty member for Foot and Ankle Business Innovations. He also serves as assistant clinical professor in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Texas Health Science Center, helping train second- and third-year residents surgical techniques and procedures. His areas of clinical interest include: bunion surgeries which emphasize early mobility and optimal cosmetic appearance, minimally invasive trauma reconstruction, sports injuries and plantar fasciitis. His primary focus is to deliver timely and comprehensive care, utilizing non-surgical means whenever possible.

Allen Raphael, DPM attended the University of Richmond and completed his BS in Biology at Kennesaw State University. He received his doctorate at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr Raphael completed a three-year surgical residency at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Decatur, GA. His training focused on advanced diabetic limb salvage, medical and surgical management of the foot and ankle. Dr Raphael has lectured internationally on advances in diabetic limb salvage and is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to all patients. He is a native of Atlanta and a second-generation physician. He is currently the director of the Atlanta Reconstructive Surgery and Limb Preservation Fellowship program.

Douglas Richie, Jr, DPM, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology from California State University, Long Beach in 1976. He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1980 and completed a post-graduate residency program in foot and ankle surgery at Western Medical Center in California in 1981. Dr Richie is certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Currently, Dr Richie has faculty appointments at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University as well as the School of Podiatric Medicine at Western University. He is the past Chairman of the Podiatric Medical Education Committee at the California School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr Richie has authored over 50 original articles published in respected medical journals and medical trade magazines. He has been an invited speaker at over 100 medical symposiums throughout the United States as well as the United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Italy, and Australia. Dr Richie's past accomplishments include serving as a Board member and Past President of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine for 7 years and serving as Section Editor (Sports Medicine) for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery for 10 years.

Jarrod Shapiro, DPM, FACFAS, FACPM is a Board-Certified podiatric foot and ankle physician and surgeon who has been in practice for almost 20 years. He is also a fellow with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr Shapiro has taught at Western University for the past 13 years and is a full professor and associate dean of clinical affairs. He is the residency program director at the Chino Valley Medical Center PMSR/RRA program in Chino, California. Dr Shapiro's training includes a 3-year foot and ankle residency at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan after graduating from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA in 2003. After completing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, he did his 3-year postgraduate training at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan from 2003 - 2006. Henry Grady Skelton, III, MD

Henry Grady Skelton, III, MD is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, and dermatopathology and has practiced Dermatopathology for over 25 years. Dr Skelton completed a general internship and then a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Naval Hospital Portsmouth, Virginia. After completion of the residency he served as head of cytology and the head of anatomic pathology at the same hospital. He did his dermatopathology fellowship at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology with Dr James H Graham and Dr Elson Helwig. He was then a consulting dermatopathologist and teaching staff at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. After that he moved to the University of Alabama at Birmingham where was professor of Pathology and served as co-director of the dermatopathology fellowship program. He is author or co-author of over 150 peer reviewed publications and has made presentations at many local and national meetings. For the last 15 years he has concentrated in full time dermatopathology diagnosis. He has a special interest in alopecia and cutaneous tumors.

Kyle W Sundblad, DPM

Kyle Sundblad, DPM joined Macomb Foot, Ankle and Wound Care in August of 2003. He attended Michigan State University where he graduated with Cum Laude Honors. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2001 from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr Sundblad completed a two-year residency program in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Kern Hospital and Medical Center in Warren, Michigan in 2003. During his residency he received special training in diabetic foot care, limb salvage and diabetic wound care. Dr Sundblad is board certified by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. He is a fellow of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, The American Society of Podiatric Surgeons and The American Professional Wound Care Association. He is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management, the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association. He is a board representative of the Southeast Division of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association. Dr Sundblad is an active staff member at St. John Macomb/Oakland Hospitals, McLaren Macomb Hospital, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and Michigan Surgical Hospital where he also holds position as Chief of the Podiatry Section. He is the Residency Director and Director of Podiatric Medical Education of the three-year surgical training program for the Kern Residency at Michigan Surgical Hospital. Dr Sundblad has been appointed to the Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine and the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He has been appointed as Lecturer in the Department of Podiatric Surgery and Applied Biomechanics at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

John Tassone, DPM

A teacher, author and board certified podiatrist, John Tassone, DPM has been caring for Valley patients for nearly two decades. After graduating from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, he completed his residency at the McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond, VA. In addition to routine diabetic foot care, Dr Tassone specializes in biomechanics, wound care and diabetic peripheral neuropathy. This includes persistent foot and ankle pain, non-healing wounds from the knee to the toes as well as foot cracking, scaling and blistering.

William H Tettelbach, CWS, MD

William H Tettelbach, MD graduated from The University of Tennessee School of Medicine in 1995. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship, as well as formal training in Biomedical Informatics, at the University of Utah. He currently is board certified in Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, and retains an academic appointment at Duke University School of Medicine. From 2000 to 2003 he served as Medical Director for TheraDoc, a provider of electronic clinical surveillance to healthcare organizations, and provided subject matter expertise for the development of their Antibiotic Assistant,; 'Infection Control Assistant, and "Adverse Drug Event Assistant. These integrated clinical surveillance/decision support software modules have helped to improve the quality and safety of patient care and are now utilized in over 600 hospitals across the nation. While in practice within the Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare system in Memphis, Dr Tettelbach was acting Medical Director of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine outpatient/inpatient services. He successfully opened the systems first wound care center that offered hyperbaric oxygen therapy as well as restructured the Methodist North Hospital's inpatient wound care teams which positively reduced the average length of stay in patients with active wounds and reduced the incidence of hospital acquired ulcers. Dr Tettelbach was invited to participate in the response to The Surviving Sepsis Campaign, a global initiative to bring together professional organizations to reduce mortality from sepsis and, as a result, led the development of a Cerner rules-based electronic "sepsis alert" module. Since its successful development, the now labeled “St. John's agent" has been adopted by other healthcare systems such as Toronto East General Hospital in Canada, the Henry Ford Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health Center and Catholic Healthcare West in California. Since returning to Utah in 2010, Dr Tettelbach has served as the Medical Director of Wound and Skin Care for the Central Region of Intermountain Healthcare. He has been an active member of the Intermountain Healthcare Infection Control Guidance Council and has been actively involved in the development of institutional policies that have resulted in a system-wide reduction in central line associated blood stream infections, a decrease in foley catheter-related urinary tract infections, and the establishment of an antimicrobial stewardship program. In 2013, he established a new Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine Fellowship at Intermountain Healthcare through a cooperative agreement with Duke University. He also provides hyperbaric medicine, wound care and infectious diseases training to podiatry residents rotating through the Intermountain wound care clinics. Currently, Dr Tettelbach retains positions as System Executive Medical Director of Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Care with Intermountain Healthcare, Medical Director of Infection Prevention & Wound Care with Landmark Hospital, and is the Program Director of the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine Fellowship in Salt Lake City for Duke University.

Colin Traynor, DPM

Colin Traynor, DPM graduated from The Pennsylvania State University and received his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from The California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University. He then completed his surgical residency at St Mary’s Medical Center. Dr Traynor is trained in foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction, elective surgery and wound care. In addition to private practice, he remains involved in student and resident education. Dr Traynor is a clinical instructor for The California School of Podiatric Medicine and clerkship director of the St Mary’s Podiatric Surgery Residency Program. Dr Traynor has lectured on foot and ankle wound care and amputation prevention, is published in international orthopedic and podiatric surgical textbooks and journals on conservative and surgical management of the foot and ankle.

Michael Troiano, DPM, FACFAS is a 2004 graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed residency at the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is in private practice at the Center for Foot and Ankle Disorders in Philadelphia. He is Adjunct Clinical Professor at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in the Department of Surgery, he teaches Biomechanics, and MRI reading. Dr Troiano is a board certified in foot, rear foot, and reconstructive ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds staff and teaching appointments at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital, Temple University Hospital, Penn Wound Care Center, Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Abington Memorial Hospital and the Foot and Ankle Specialty Center. He is also the Founder of Foot and Ankle Business Innovations. He previously was the Co-Editor of Foot and Ankle Specialist, the only combined orthopedic and podiatric peer reviewed journal. Dr Weil, Jr has pioneered such surgeries as the dorsal approach plantar plate repair and has authored over 50 papers and text book chapters. Martin E Wendelken, DPM, RN, FAPWCA

Martin E Wendelken, DPM, RN, FAPWCA, is a noted lecturer and published author in the area of diagnostic ultrasound. He has utilized musculoskeletal ultrasound in podiatry for more than 18 years. Dr Wendelken has been directly involved in bringing diagnostic ultrasound into podiatric community on a number of levels and was an adjunct professor at Temple University's School of Podiatric Medicine teaching diagnostic ultrasound. Dr Wendelken has also been a consultant to a number of diagnostic ultrasound companies. Currently, Dr Wendelken is working with 2020 Imaging LLC, a division of Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, Inc as their musculoskeletal educator and product specialist of the lower extremity/foot and ankle. He has also been awarded two United States Patents related to diagnostic ultrasound.

R Wesley Wetherington, MD

Medical Director

R Wesley Wetherington, MD is a Georgia native and a former Naval Flight Officer in the United States Navy. He earned his degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr Wetherington completed residency training in Pathology at the Medical College of Georgia followed by a one year fellowship in Surgical Pathology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. He also completed a year of fellowship training in Cytopathology at the University of Pennsylvania. After this, Dr Wetherington specialized in Dermatopathology as a fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX. He is board certified in Pathology and Dermatopathology. Dr Wetherington is an active member of the Atlanta Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Society, the Georgia Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatopathology, and the International Society of Dermatopathology. Dr Wetherington and his family returned to Georgia in 2002 upon completion of his training, and he assumed the role as Medical Director of a dermatopathology laboratory for a national company, as well as serving as a member of the board of directors for the dermatopathology division of the company. In April 2010, he left the company and founded SkinPath Solutions, where he now serves as Medical Director. He has been active in the instruction of dermatology residents at the Medical College of Georgia and Emory University since his return to Georgia.

Marie L Williams, DPM, DABFAS, DHL

Marie Williams, DPM, DABPS, DHLS, is board certified in foot and ankle surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr Williams was the first clinical dean at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and is currently an Adjunct Professor for the school. Dr Williams has been in private practice since 1984. She is currently the Chairman of the Department of Podiatry at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. She has been involved in residency training since 1986 and a Program Director in Podiatric Surgery and Medicine since 1988. Dr Williams is a speaker in the field of foot and ankle surgery as well as limb salvage. She has published several articles on the healing of complex wounds and limb salvage, while also authoring a chapter: Bone Infections in "Foot and Ankle Radiology". In August 2014, Dr Williams was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts along with her teammates from Immaculata College. Their team, the Mighty Macs, captured three consecutive Championships. They were considered trailblazers for women sports, and in the 70s they help bring about Title 9 and equality for women in sports. In June 2015 they received the trailblazer award in the women’s basketball hall of fame. Dr Williams was recently requested to be a Keynote Speaker for Immaculata University and received the Doctor of Humane Letters for her humanitarian efforts in May 2018.

Kyle W Willson, DPM, MBA

Kyle Willson, DPM, MBA grew up in the San Francisco bay area and attended the University of California, Davis. He then went on to podiatry and business school at Barry University in Miami, Florida where he earned his DPM and MBA degrees.He returned to the bay area for his residency at Kaiser Vallejo. Dr Willson is now a fellow at the Silicon Valley Reconstructive Foot and Ankle fellowship.

Bruce B Zappan, DPM

Bruce B Zappan, DPM is a Board Certified Podiatrist. Dr Zappan is a member of the adjunct clinical faculty at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He is affiliated with Pennsylvania Hospital and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His areas of expertise includes lower extremity laser therapy. Dr Zappan is a former Vice President and co-founder of the the International Aesthetic Foot Society. He was the past Chairperson for the Medical Division of Center City Proprietors. Dr Zappan has been a featured podiatrist in Vogue, Podiatry Management and USA Today.
